Teacher Requirements

To maintain the integrity, safety, and professional standards of the Teacher Me platform, all educators must meet the following requirements before being approved.

CURRENT TEACHER REGISTRATION

You must own a valid and current teacher registration or teaching license in an Australian state or territory. Your registration must be active and in good standing.

AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS NUMBER (ABN)

You must own a registered and active ABN. Teachers operate as independent contractors and are paid directly by the families they tutor. You are responsible for managing your own tax, GST, and superannuation obligations.

STRIPE ACCOUNT

To earn on Teacher Me, you will need a verified Stripe account connected to your profile. All payments are securely processed through Stripe and transferred directly to your nominated bank account.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION

You will need a valid photo ID (passport or driver’s license) and are required to verify your identity and confirm your teacher registration details.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK

You must own a valid Working With Children Check/Blue Card Exemption (or equivalent clearance), as required by your state or territory. Requirements vary by state and you are responsible for keeping your clearance current.

SESSION EXTENSION
